AIM-D e.V.

As an industry association for Automatic Identification, Data Capture and Mobile Data Communication, AIM represents the common interests of the industry. The focus is on automated and digital processes within the framework of Industry 4.0. Therefore, AIM promotes the market expansion of Auto-ID technology and processes such as barcode, DataMatrixCode (2D), OCR, RFID, NFC, RTLS and sensor technology. With a global network of experts and regular events, the association actively supports industry networking, knowledge transfer and the development of new technology solutions.

Universität Duisburg-Essen

The Centre for Logistics and Transport (ZLV) brings together a variety of chairs for the interdisciplinary conception, management and transfer of scientific work related to logistics, mobility and transport from different departments at the University of Duisburg-Essen. The ZLV is oriented towards long-term sustainable, economically beneficial, socially acceptable and ecologically safe innovations.

Effizienz Agentur NRW

Efficiency Agency NRW Conserve resources. Strengthen the economy. The Effizienz-Agentur NRW (EFA) was founded in 1998 on the initiative of the NRW Ministry of the Environment to give industry and trade in North Rhine-Westphalia impetus for resource-efficient management. With its resource efficiency consulting service, the agency supports manufacturing companies in making their products and processes even more efficient, thereby reducing costs and environmental impact. In addition, the EFA offers support with financing advice for necessary research and development projects or investments and accompanies the implementation of measures. Within the framework of events, training courses, workshops and webinars, EFA provides information on current developments in the subject area. It also initiates and supports numerous company networks. In the meantime, a total of 32 EFA employees in Duisburg and in the eight regional offices in Aachen, Bergisches Land, Bielefeld, Münster, Niederrhein, Rheinland, Siegen and Werl are committed to ensuring that companies in NRW benefit from the advantages of resource-efficient management.
